Job Summary:
The Associate Retail Strategy & Optimization Manager supports the development and execution of strategies that improve retail performance, operational efficiency, and customer experience. This role is ideal for an analytical, early-career professional looking to grow within retail strategy, analytics, or operations. You will work closely with senior leaders and cross-functional partners to analyze performance, identify opportunities, and help implement improvements across the retail network.
- Analyze store and market performance metrics including sales, traffic, conversion, labor, and inventory
- Support retail optimization initiatives across pricing, promotions, labor planning, assortment, and operations
- Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate insights
- Assist with business cases, pilots, and testing initiatives to improve retail productivity
- Partner with Retail Operations, Merchandising, Finance, and Analytics teams on cross-functional projects
- Support new store openings, remodels, and other growth initiatives with data analysis
- Identify process improvement opportunities and assist with implementation at scale
- 2–4 years of experience in retail, strategy, operations, analytics, consulting, or a related field
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and working with data
- Familiarity with retail KPIs and performance metrics preferred
- Experience with BI or reporting tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) a plus
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Must live near a major airport and be open to heavy travel
