Typical Responsibilities (Depending on Role)
* Perform grade checking and layout in accordance with plans and specifications
* Supervise and coordinate grading crews to meet production, quality, and schedule goals
* Safely operate heavy equipment on large-scale civil projects
* Read and interpret civil drawings, profiles, and mass grading plans
* Work closely with surveyors, superintendents, and project managers
* Maintain compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Preferred Qualifications
* Experience in heavy civil, grading, roadway, or infrastructure projects
* Proficiency with grade stakes, laser levels, and/or GPS machine control systems
* Strong understanding of cut/fill, slopes, and tolerances
* Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
* Valid driver's license (if applicable)
