Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to join a high‑performing team on complex industrial and commercial electrical construction projects. In this role, you will be the driving force behind day‑to‑day field operations — planning, scheduling, and coordinating all electrical construction activities from groundbreaking through project closeout. Your work will directly impact project delivery timelines, quality outcomes, and client satisfaction. You will partner closely with project managers, field crew leads, subcontractors, and other trades to keep work moving and resolve conflicts before they become delays.

On a given day you might be reviewing weekly workplans with crew leads, walking the site to inspect workmanship, attending coordination meetings with the general contractor, or working with the Quality Manager to prepare scopes for QAQC inspections. The role demands someone who is equally comfortable in the field and in planning conversations.

The ideal candidate is a hands‑on leader who takes pride in building high‑functioning crews, upholding safety and quality standards, and seeing projects through to completion on time and on budget. If you thrive in a fast‑paced construction environment and have a track record of leading electrical field operations, we want to hear from you.

Duties And Responsibilities
  • Participate with management in preparing a project execution plan covering construction activities, manpower, and equipment requirements.
  • Plan layout and installation of electrical raceways, wiring, PLC/RIO/LCP panels, and end devices per job specifications and local codes.
  • Confer with project managers and field crew leads weekly to provide schedule updates and status reports.
  • Schedule and direct personnel and subcontractors performing electrical work, interpreting specifications, and coordinating construction phases to prevent delays.
  • Coordinate production and attend cross‑trade meetings with the general contractor to identify and resolve conflicts and provide progress updates.
  • Assist field crew leads in creating weekly workplans that project activities, resources, and material needs for the current and following week.
  • Meet weekly with field crew leads to review and evaluate their workplans.
  • Review daily production reports submitted by field crew leads for accuracy, impacts, and issues requiring management attention.
  • Inspect work in progress to verify workmanship meets quality specifications, schedules, and housekeeping standards.
  • Work with the Quality Manager to ensure scopes are completed and ready for QAQC inspections.
  • Build and maintain relationships with the Owner's mechanical/electrical system owners, GC area superintendents, and other trades.
  • Purchase wiring, parts, and materials to ensure timely delivery to meet project needs.
  • Train electricians and helpers to ensure adherence to project requirements and schedules.
  • Utilize field tracking tools for workforce management, production, checklists, punch lists, site inspections, and housekeeping.
Required Experience / Skills
  • Completion of an electrical apprenticeship plus a minimum of one year of related field experience, or equivalent combination of education and…
