Project Engineer

What You Will DoAs a Project Engineer, you will support the project management team by coordinating documentation, logistics, and communication across the jobsite. Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage and track project documentation including RFIs, change orders, ASIs, QA/QC records, submittals, and supplemental design documents
- Maintain organized and accurate jobsite records to support project progress and compliance
- Oversee jobsite logistics such as office supplies, badging, and orientation paperwork
- Coordinate equipment and material deliveries
- Support subcontractor and vendor management to ensure alignment with project goals
- Assist in assembling estimates, budgets, and cost tracking
- Write and track purchase orders and subcontracts
- Update project schedules and support productivity tracking
- Attend project meetings and contribute to planning discussions
We are looking for someone who is technically sharp, highly organized, and eager to grow in the mechanical construction industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to learn and apply technical concepts quickly
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure and deadlines
- Professionalism, diplomacy, and tact when working with colleagues, customers, and suppliers
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and project specifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
