Mid-Level Architectural Design Role
We're the team people like working with—collaborative, approachable, and genuinely into design. We spend our days exploring ideas, looking at interesting work, and engaging in real design dialogue with each other and our clients. It's a relaxed, engaging environment where good work happens—and by Friday afternoons, the pace naturally lightens as we wrap up the week.
This is a mid-level architectural design role where you'll take ownership of project work streams and occasionally lead smaller projects from concept through documentation. We work on projects at a national scale, giving team members a variety of experiences across various jurisdictions. You'll work closely with experienced designers while helping move projects forward—balancing design, documentation, and coordination.
What We're Looking For3-5+ years of experience
Degree in Architecture or related field
Actively pursuing licensure (ARE testing underway)
Brings a well-rounded, adaptable skillset—comfortable moving between design work, coordination, and team support tasks, and open to learning whatever is needed to elevate the final work product
Proficiency in:
Revit (including Revit Family creation / editing) Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) Adobe Suite (Acrobat, Photoshop, etc.)
Ability to contribute to both design development and technical documentation
Growing confidence leading smaller projects or defined scopes & presenting to clients both virtually and/or in-person
Basic experience coordinating with MEP and structural consultants
Strong organization and attention to detail
Clear communication and collaborative mindset
A mindset focused on learning, consistency, and follow-through
Ability to work in-person Monday–Friday in Chandler, AZ
Willingness to travel nationally (5-6 trips per year)
Nice to have: AIA or other Industry affiliations
Assist with research related to zoning, codes, site information, and review processes
Develop and refine design solutions (plans, layouts, and project concepts)
Lead smaller projects or portions of larger projects with support
Produce and manage coordinated Revit drawing sets
Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and product vendors
Help track project tasks, decisions, and overall progress
Create design decks for client meetings and presentations
Assist with meeting notes and support project coordination
Ensure design intent carries through documentation and coordination
