Saras Micro Devices is seekinganEHS and Facilities Specialist. Join our team and takeon support for oursite safety and facility needs.
The successful candidates will design and implement systems and equipment procedures in a semiconductor manufacturing environment. They willbe responsible for facility andequipmentsafety, updating current systemprocessesand conducting risk assessments in collaboration with other team members.

- Perform monthly siteand laboratory audits for hazards (slips, trips, falls, pinches,etc)
- Owner of LOTO (lock out tag out program) when equipment/ facility maintenance is performed.
- Perform monthly fire extinguishers and weekly eye wash station inspections.
- Support facility needs through installation of short run water lines, CDA, drains, etc.
- Support equipment expansion through leading facility upgrade projects.
- Support troubleshooting of facility equipment during equipment failures or downtime.
- Support processengineeringteam through assisting tool troubleshooting when needed.
- Lead contractors and vendors when Plant Managernotavailable.
- POC for landlord during required site inspections.
- Support site safety initiatives.
- Help support site inventory and receiving processes.

- Associate’s degree in industrial maintenanceor related field,5 years of laboratory/ industrialmaintenanceand safetyexperiencein lieu of degree.
- At least 1 year experience performing near miss reports, root causes, preventive measures, and safety audits.
- PreferredequipmentPM,PdM, and parts inventory background.
- Experience in site safety,including standard EHS policies.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft office (Word, Excell, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- CAD (AutoCAD) experience. Able to open, view, and decipher drawings.
- EHS software reporting experience preferred.
- Ability tolift upto 50 lbs.
- This position may require standing for extended periods of time.
