Chandler-Gilbert Community College invites applications for a Residential Faculty position in Physics within the Physical Sciences and Engineering Division, which also includes programs in Artificial Intelligence, Astronomy, Chemistry, Engineering, and Geosciences.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative, interdisciplinary team of faculty dedicated to excellence in teaching and student success. This position involves developing and delivering engaging lecture and laboratory courses in physics while fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Teaching responsibilities include Introductory Physics (PHY
101), College Physics I and II (PHY
111 & PHY
112), University Physics I and II (PHY
121 & PHY
131), and University Physics III (PHY
241). Additional courses may be assigned based on departmental needs and the instructor's area of expertise.
