Responsibilities

  • Design and develop mandatory local training programs within the global training and development framework.
  • Consult with management to establish Individual Training Plans (ITP) according to RASCI and manage the plans in Learning Link.
  • Promote available training to employees and provide information about sessions.
  • Conduct local training needs assessments and identify skills or knowledge gaps.
  • Maintain an updated curriculum database and training records in Learning Link.
  • Build annual training programs and prepare training plans for local STC employees.
  • Deliver structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results.
  • Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees’ work behavior, applying Kirkpatrick evaluation principles.
  • Evaluate trainees’ performance and develop assessment instruments.
  • Support the Never Stop Learning Festival (NSLF) or equivalent, working with the local and global L & D teams.
  • Obtain accreditation to deliver internal and external training courses from VT and the group if required.
  • Support, train, and audit the local operations team in the correct use of AG5.
  • Assist the local operations team in gap analysis for each individual and allocate necessary training.
  • Coordinate allocation of country‑specific, workplace‑specific, and product‑specific trainings for each individual in AG5.
To succeed, you will need
  • Proven experience as a Training Specialist, with at least 5 years in the role.
  • Experience designing and developing training materials and courses for delivery on multiple platforms.
  • Hands‑on experience coordinating or executing training events.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles.
  • Knowledge of learning management systems and web delivery tools.
  • Experience with AG5 – Self Assessment Process is mandatory.
  • Ability to complete the full training cycle: assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, deliver, monitor, and evaluate.
  • High attention to detail and quality assurance of materials and courses.
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern job training methods and techniques.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Positive attitude, which is 50 percent of this role.
