Job Description

Step into an influential school-based role supporting students' success and well-being! This full-time, contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled School Psychologist eager to make a meaningful difference by providing comprehensive psychological services. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster positive learning environments.

This position offers you consistent weekly hours - 37.5 each week - giving you the chance to build genuine connections and continuity with students and staff across the school year. Your expertise in evaluations and assessments will play a crucial role in identifying student needs and shaping the supports they receive.

What You’ll Bring:

  • State licensure/certification as a School Psychologist
  • Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or closely related field
  • Experience conducting psycho educational evaluations, assessments, and eligibility determinations
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance requirements
  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills
  • Capacity for collaboration within multidisciplinary educational teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer, score, and interpret evaluations and assessments for students
  • Contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, participating in eligibility and placement decisions
  • Consult with teachers, families, and school personnel to support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
  • Design and support intervention programs based on data-driven decision making
  • Prepare clear, comprehensive documentation and reports within required timelines
  • Advocate for best practices and promote positive mental health in the school community
