Position Summary
The is responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining project schedules to support design and engineering deliverables. This role ensures deadlines are met, resources are allocated efficiently, and cross-functional teams remain aligned throughout project life cycles.
Key ResponsibilitiesScheduling & Planning
- Develop and maintain detailed design and engineering schedules.
- Sequence project tasks, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Integrate design schedules with overall project timelines.
- Monitor schedule progress and identify potential delays.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to gather scheduling inputs.
- Facilitate schedule review meetings and communicate updates.
- Ensure alignment between design deliverables and construction or production schedules.
- Track deadlines and notify teams of upcoming milestones.
- Assist in resource planning and workload distribution.
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend adjustments.
- Support workload forecasting and staffing needs.
- Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, and progress updates.
- Maintain accurate records of schedule revisions and approvals.
- Provide schedule risk analysis and mitigation recommendations.
- Recommend improvements to scheduling processes and workflow efficiency.
- Support implementation of scheduling tools and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of scheduling, project coordination, or project controls experience.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools such as:
Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Asana or similar workflow tools. - Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
- Experience supporting design, engineering, or construction projects.
- Familiarity with design workflows and deliverable phases.
- Knowledge of critical path scheduling methods.
- Experience working in fast-paced, multi-project environments.
