Location: Chandler, AZ
Salary: $60.00 USD Hourly - $80.00 USD Hourly
Description: Job Summary:

We are seeking a Parts, Materials, and Processes Engineer to support design and compliance efforts for development programs. This role involves reviewing engineering compliance, generating bills of materials, and performing advanced analysis and testing of materials and structural components.
Responsibilities:

• Review engineering compliance with material and process system-level requirements.
• Generate bills of materials using engineering design data and material requirements planning systems.
• Perform analysis, design, and testing of complex materials, structural components, or functional systems based on project objectives.
• Utilize advanced structural and product design engineering software tools.
• Apply GD&T principles to engineering designs.
• Conduct complex engineering design, development, analysis, and/or test activities to support assigned projects.
• Develop test programs to evaluate system elements such as materials and structural components.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of experience, OR Master's degree in STEM, OR PhD in STEM with 0 years of experience.
• Working knowledge of at least one programming language: MATLAB, Python, C, or C++.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with NX or other CAD tools.
• GD&T training and application experience.
• Ability to present technical content to peers and project teams.
• Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of basic corrosion principles.
• Experience with material and process requirement reviews and drawing reviews.
• Understanding of material characterization, qualification, and design allowables generation.
