Software Engineer (Contingent Worker) - Chandler, AZ
About the Role
As a contingent Software Engineer, you will contribute to medium-complexity engineering initiatives and support large-scale project planning. You will analyze technical challenges, evaluate multiple variables to identify solutions, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality engineering outcomes. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, solid technical judgment, and the ability to work effectively within established engineering processes, policies, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering teams to support moderately complex software development initiatives.
- Participate in project planning and contribute to technical deliverables across the software engineering lifecycle.
- Review, analyze, and troubleshoot engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation and thoughtful problem-solving.
- Collaborate with internal partners to resolve issues and ensure alignment with engineering standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide consultative support to client stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement across engineering workflows.
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent experience demonstrated through any of the following:
- Professional or consulting experience
- Technical training or certification
- Military experience
- Relevant education
