About the Role

In this contingent role, you will partner with engineering and business stakeholders to support large-scale, complex software engineering initiatives. You will apply deep technical expertise to assess challenges, guide long-term planning, and influence strategic decisions across multiple teams. This role requires strong analytical abilities, the capacity to evaluate ambiguous or unprecedented technical issues, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities

• Consult on complex engineering initiatives and contribute to large-scale technical planning efforts.
• Review, analyze, and diagnose multi-faceted software engineering challenges, including those requiring evaluation of novel or intangible factors.
• Develop informed recommendations that support compliance, policy adherence, and business outcomes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and client stakeholders to drive alignment and deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
• Support the resolution of complex technical or organizational issues by leveraging a comprehensive understanding of engineering processes and standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience, or an equivalent combination of:
  • Professional engineering or consulting experience
  • Technical training
  • Military experience
  • Relevant education
