Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify new automation applications for our factory.
• Define and optimize parameters for automation systems.
• Document all aspects of the automation implementation process.
• Design electro-mechanical equipment with a focus on edge devices, machine learning, and vision system applications.
• Deploy automation systems on various platforms, including microcontrollers, SBCs, PLCs, and PCs.
• Utilize strong analytical skills and apply Design of Experiments principles.
• Communicate complex technical content in a simplified manner for customer review and acceptance.

• Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in electro-mechanical equipment design and automation system deployment.
• Strong analytical skills and practical application of Design of Experiments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in programming languages and software tools relevant to automation engineering.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Master's degree in Automation Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with machine learning and vision system applications.
• Familiarity with microcontroller platforms and software development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proven track record of successful automation system implementation.
