Job Summary
The Process Engineer supports the design and execution of bulk and specialty chemical and gas systems for advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Working under the direction of a Lead or Senior Engineer, this role contributes to process design, interdisciplinary coordination, and construction support across project phases. The position is ideal for a mid‑level engineer seeking to grow technical depth and semiconductor project experience.
This position is designated as part‑time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in‑person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in‑person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.
- Support design and implementation of bulk and specialty gas and chemical systems
- Prepare and update process deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, datasheets, specifications)
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams
- Participate in technical reviews, safety and operability studies, and design reviews
- Assist with code compliance, vendor evaluations, and construction‑phase support
- Identify design issues and propose solutions for review by senior engineers
- Support estimates, work plans, schedules, and progress reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering (or equivalent)
- 5–8 years of relevant process engineering experience
- Semiconductor manufacturing or process utility experience preferred
- Working knowledge of semiconductor bulk and specialty gas systems
- Familiarity with industrial and hazardous gases and associated safety requirements
- Understanding of gas system components, layouts, and materials
- Basic familiarity with applicable codes and standards (IBC, IFC, NFPA, SEMI)
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and grow under technical mentorship
