Our customer is looking for an Engineer CAD CAM 1 to support their Mechanical and Energetics department. This position will be on-site in Chandler, Arizona.

• The Engineer CAD CAM 1 will work within our customer’s Design group and be responsible for creating drawing/design packages with proper content and ensure compliance with applicable industry and military standards.
• Review designs for fit, function, manufacturability, and economy of fabrication under the supervision of a Senior CAD Designer.
• Review tolerance analysis, hardware selection, and fitment on assembly prints.
• Maintain basic knowledge of GD&T and its application.
• Verify 3D models submitted to manufacturing using Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter.
• Coordinate with various engineering disciplines, Manufacturing, and Quality; some vendor liaison will be required.
• Model fully defined components and assemblies efficiently using Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter and create/revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME modeling and drawing standards.

• Create and review mechanical drawings with appropriate personnel, verify completed work, and check dimensions, materials, and quantities to be used.
• Mechanical modeling using NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter.
• Create/Revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME 3D modeling and drawing standards.
• Perform related duties as assigned or required.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, Windows and NX 1946 as required.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under schedule pressure and maintain patience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.

• Experience with GD&T and application thereof.
• Proficiency in Siemens NX (NX 2412) and Teamcenter.
• Familiarity with ASME standards for modeling and drawing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; comfortable with Windows environment.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
