* Job Summary:

** The RF Engineer I works under immediate supervision and uses established procedures to perform engineering duties in researching, planning, designing, and developing products for use in the Electronics Space marketplace. The RF Engineer I works on new product designs and existing product designs, modernization, and upgrades, as well as performs extensive analyses to ensure cost, quality, and customer requirements are met.

Working within a collaborative Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment the Electrical Engineer I uses analytical thinking and innovation to ensure customer goals are met.

* Essential Functions:

*** Work under close supervision to gain hands‐on experience researching, planning, designing, and developing products for Defense and Space applications.
* Assist with new product designs and modernization of existing designs to meet cost, quality, and customer requirements.
* Support end‐to‐end systems analysis and contribute to the design of RF and mixed‐signal communications hardware.
* Help with system integration and testing activities to verify product performance.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet customer, manufacturing, and internal standards.
* Contribute to the development of test procedures and help ensure product designs comply with internal and external requirements.
** Minimum Qualifications****:
*** 0-3 years of relevant work experience
* Completed courses in Electromagnetics, RF & Microwave circuits, Analog, and Mixed-signal circuit design.
* Knowledge of Signal processing and Communications is desired but not a requirement.
* Knowledge of simulation tools like Microwave office / ADS / HFSS is desired but not a requirement.
* Some hands-on experience handling RF equipment in the lab desired.

* Education/Certification:

B.S. / M.S. (Preferable) in Electrical Engineering
* ** Eligibility Requirement:
This position requires access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US persons will be considered.  As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).**

**** Working Conditions****:
*** Standard office environment
* Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail
* Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
* Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
* May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
