Responsibilities
Field Service Engineer required in Chandler, AZ.
Travel
: client sites in Arizona and California required one week a month, per diem and expenses paid. Occasional weekend travel may be required. Two to three weeks of client and product training in France after starting.
- Install, commission, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair advanced equipment at customer sites across North America.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, software, and process‑related issues; implement effective corrective actions to restore performance.
- Perform preventive maintenance, validation, and acceptance testing to ensure system reliability and uptime.
- Provide responsive remote and on‑site technical support, delivering a high level of customer service.
- Train end users on equipment operation, maintenance best practices, and new features or upgrades.
- Partner with internal Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams on service planning, parts availability, and technical solutions.
- Complete accurate service documentation, including test results and regular activity reporting.
- Recommend equipment improvements and upgrades, including solutions related to component obsolescence.
- Support system demonstrations, application testing, and qualification activities as needed.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- Hands‑on experience in field service, equipment maintenance, or technical support within industrial equipment, automation, semiconductor, or similar environments.
- Strong troubleshooting capability across electromechanical systems, controls, and equipment diagnostics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and service procedures.
- Strong communication skills with a customer‑focused, professional approach.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high‑quality service in field environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently across North America, including overnight travel.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel by car and air as required.
Pay range: lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay loyee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
