Our customer is looking for an Engineer CAD CAM 1 to support their Mechanical and Energetics department. This position will serve on-site at Chandler, AZ.

• Work within the customer’s Design group and create drawing/design packages with proper content and ensure compliance with applicable industry and military standards.
• Review designs for fit, function, manufacturability, and economy of fabrication under supervision of a Sr CAD Designer, including tolerance analysis, hardware selection, and fitment on assembly prints.
• Apply basic knowledge of GD&T and its application.
• Verify 3D models submitted to manufacturing using Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter.
• Act as liaison with various engineering disciplines, manufacturing, quality, and vendor support.
• Model fully defined components and assemblies efficiently using Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter and create/revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME modeling and drawing standards.
• Create and review mechanical drawings, verifying completed work, checking dimensions, materials, and quantities to be used.
• Mechanical modeling using NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter.
• Create/revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME 3D modeling and drawing standards.
• Perform related duties as assigned or required.
• Use Word, Excel, Windows, and NX 1946 as required.
• Demonstrate good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Work quickly and accurately under schedule pressure while exhibiting patience.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
