Process Integration and Yield Engineer – Intel

Intel is looking for highly motivated individuals with a strong technical background to sustain, ramp, and transfer all technology nodes in Arizona. The role involves driving rapid continuous improvements in safety, quality, yield, reliability, cost, process stability and capability, and productivity while maintaining rigorous quality control.

• Perform detailed data analysis using statistical/data mining tools to identify the root causes of defect and yield issues.
• Identify exclusionary or baseline sources of defects or yield impacts and recommend or lead corrective actions and fixes.
• Lead or participate in continuous improvement projects on products and processes for improved performance.
• Provide expertise on process flow segments.
• Lead or participate in multi‑area problem‑solving teams to troubleshoot complex yield problems.

• Solid analytical skills and a passion for data analysis and problem solving.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to influence a variety of groups at all levels.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership skills, problem‑solving and prioritization abilities, and a drive for high performance.

• BSE degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Statistics/Data Science, Chemistry, Physics or a related field with 4+ years of experience, or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or Ph.D. in the above fields.
• Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication and processing techniques (Lithography, Etch, CMP, Thin Films, Plating, etc.).
• Experience with Statistical Process Control, Design of Experiments (DOE), and statistical data analysis using tools such as JMP/JSL, Python, and SQL.
• Preferred:
  Programming experience in JMP/JSL, Python, R, and SQL; 2+ years of new‑technology startup experience; 5+ years of advanced‑node foundry experience in Process/Yield Engineering.
