Project Engineer Intern - Heavy Civil

Our ideal Project Engineer Intern is someone eager to jumpstart their career in the construction industry and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and work hard!

• Assist the project management team and provide technical support
• Review timesheets, cost reporting, and submittals
• Gain knowledge on the company’s self-performing trades: concrete, wet utilities, and grading
• Assist project team in material and equipment procurement, planning and scheduling of activities
• Attend and participate in job coordination meetings
• Attend and participate in owner project meetings
• Develop a firm understanding of project scope of work and contract documents
• Develop your understanding of construction safety

• Currently enrolled Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
• High interest and eager to learn more about the construction industry
• Not afraid to dive right in and ask questions
• Supportive, team player with the mentality to do what is best for the success of the company and team members
• Ability to work 40 hours Monday – Friday during the summer internship session
