Job Title: Engineer CAD CAM 1

Location: Chandler, AZ

Duration: 12 Months

Pay Rate: $34.60 /hr.

Start Date: Immediate

Must be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Our customer is looking for an Engineer CAD CAM 1 to support their Mechanical and Energetics department. This position will serve on‑site at Chandler, Arizona.

• Create drawing/design packages with proper content and ensure compliance with applicable industry and military standards.
• Review designs for fit, function, manufacturability, and economy of fabrication under the supervision of a Sr CAD Designer.
• Review tolerance analysis, hardware selection, and fitment on assembly prints.
• Verify 3D models submitted to manufacturing utilizing Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter.
• Liaise with various engineering disciplines, Manufacturing, and Quality; vendor liaison required.
• Model fully defined components and assemblies efficiently using Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter and create/revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME modeling and drawing standards.
• Create and review mechanical drawings with appropriate personnel, verifying completed work and checking dimensions, materials, and quantities.
• Perform related duties as assigned or required.
• Utilize Word, Excel, Windows, and NX 1946 as required.
• Maintain good written and verbal communication skills.
• Work quickly and accurately under schedule pressure while exhibiting patience.
• Apply strong time management and organizational skills.

Basic knowledge in GD&T and application is required.
