In this role, you will provide expertise related to coordination of architectural work on large complex projects with unique requirements. You will prepare work plans, review design documents, interpret regulations, and assist with solutions addressing project requirements.
This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and will require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership. #LI-ME1
Major Responsibilities- Plans, develops, coordinates and reviews architectural work by others
- Prepares documentation for design and construction phases of projects
- Participates in the preparation of architectural work packages and coordinates with other engineering disciplines, procurement, suppliers, and construction teams
- Coordinates with client representatives to obtain approval of architectural packages
- Participates in the review of design documents, supplier drawings and data, material specifications, drawings, and change orders for the project to which assigned
Requires a bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-12 years of relevant experience or 14-17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
Required Knowledge and Skills- Advanced knowledge of architectural design, production techniques, building specifications, construction documentation and project delivery methods
- Knowledge of building codes, current industry and regulatory standards and criteria pertinent to architectural work
- Understands and performs the standard architectural work planning, scheduling, and job hour estimating process; experience in monitoring and ensuring compliance with project budget, quantities, and quality requirements
- Knowledge and experience using BIM, Autodesk Design suite (e.g., Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks)
- Proven ability to work within a diverse multicultural environment
