* Job Summary:

** The Quality Engineer I works under immediate supervision and uses established procedures to control and monitor quality, ensuring products are consistent with industry standards, government regulations, and customer requirements
*
* Essential Functions:

*** Collaborate cross‐functionally with Engineering, Operations, Suppliers, and Customers to ensure products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining effective quality control systems.
* Collect, analyze, and interpret production data to identify trends; conduct root‐cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions, halting production when necessary to prevent nonconforming material escape.
* Generate detailed reports on nonconformance, quality trends, and corrective actions; support audits from Defense, Aerospace, and Customer organizations to ensure compliance.
* Lead qualification of product and process changes; review and approve quality documentation including ECOs, MCOs, deviations, and updates to Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Process Flow Diagrams.
* Provide technical support for failure analysis, reliability testing, and process capability studies, ensuring processes remain stable and capable.
* Train team members in quality methodologies, sampling procedures, statistical analysis, and analytical techniques to strengthen quality performance across the value stream.
** Minimum Qualifications****:**
* * Experience*: 0-2 years of Quality Engineering experience
* * Knowledge*:
Understands fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of assigned product or program;
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field
* * Skills/Abilities*:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint;
Full color acuity;
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently to meet company standards and deadlines
* * Education/Certification*: BA or BS degree in Quality Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related field
* * Eligibility Requirement*: FAA sensitive position – may be subject to a government security investigation to verify eligibility for access to classified information

As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
