# Project Overview:

Bechtel Manufacturing and Technology (M&T) is an exciting and growing business that serves the increasing demand of EPC services for customers in the semiconductor (manufacturing facilities and supply chain); electric vehicle (batteries, charging infrastructure, and production); synthetic materials; and data center markets.

Job Summary:

In this role, you will participate in subcontract formation and/or administration. Subcontract formation includes leading preparation and review of bid request packages and developing project contracts operating procedures. Subcontract administration includes continual progress review, forecasting, and communication of difficulties. Your work will ensure subcontract compliance with project requirements.

# Major Responsibilities:

+ Provides expertise, advice, and direction for project and materials activities to ensure the overall organizational effectiveness among all functions responsible for the materials management process.

+ Reviews the project schedule, evaluates approved and pending changes, evaluates impacts to timing and sequence of each functional group, and ensures that materials meet required delivery dates.

+ Reviews schedule revisions for impacts and participates in the development of contingency planning.

+ Ensures adherence to the project execution plan and that key activities are performed in the right sequence.

+ Monitors Supplier Change Requests and Change Notices

+ Implements strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

+ Regularly interacts with cross functional personnel and senior leadership on matters concerning project operations related to material management activities

Education and Experience Requirements:

Requires bachelor's or master's degree (or international equivalent) and 13-15 years of relevant experience or 17-19 years of relevant work experience

# Required Knowledge and

Skills:

+ Exceptional administrative and organizational skills.

+ Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

+ Advanced knowledge of all procurement operations related to the management of materials at area, regional, temporary and

+ jobsite office locations.

+ Advanced knowledge in Engineering and Construction activities, and knowledge of work processes related to Supply Chain functions.
