Overview
The Principal Analysis Engineer is responsible for leading and performing static and dynamic stress analysis on various products developed by the collective engineering team. The Principal Analysis Engineer is responsible for developing and/or reviewing reports detailing the failure modes of various products and recommended design solutions, as applicable, to reduce the risk of failure during qualification testing and/or product deployment. The Principal Analysis Engineer will utilize various analysis programs (Abaqus, Optistruct, Hypermesh, LS-DYNA) and oversee the development of supplemental analysis tools as required.
The Principal Analysis Engineer will manage all analysis workload and ensure analysis staff is adequately trained to support business needs. The Principal Analysis Engineer will assist in department budgeting of analysis software and assist in bids and proposals as required.
- Management of Analysis team and performing analysis using various analysis programs
- Developing and/or reviewing analysis reports
- Technical writing to support other corporate needs
