Job Summary

The client is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to join the Process Engineering department within the Manufacturing and Technology Business Unit (M&T). The role will lead the Process Engineering discipline on project and will support discipline execution, technical coordination, and interface management for assigned semiconductor process systems. Experience with applicable industry standards and codes, accepted design practices, and quality standards for Semiconductor Industry Process Systems is required.

Local candidates from AZ preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plans and conducts work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application, and adaptation of process engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria on a large size project.
  • Review work products for technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Plans and coordinates day-to-day technical activities for assigned process engineering scope, including alignment with other execution offices, shared-work teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Communicates complex technical issues and recommends solutions to upper management.
  • Contributes to work plans in accordance with project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Coordinates with client representatives, as directed, to obtain their approval of Process engineering aspects of the work.
  • Provides input to and participates in special technical educational and training programs as directed.
  • Evaluate subcontractors' work for conformance to design intent and schedule.
  • Promote the creation of a work environment backed by leadership that fosters openness, trust, communication, teamwork, empowerment, innovation, and satisfaction.
  • Mentor staff and provide guidance and direction.
Required Skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Semiconductor Industry Process Systems including Industrial and Specialty Gases, Bulk and Planar Chemicals, Water Purification, Waste Collection and Treatment.
  • Experience supporting engineering deliverables through procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable ASME, ANSI, API, CGA, SEMI, and ISO standards.
  • Ability to facilitate technical alignment across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strong client-facing communication and issue-resolution skills.
  • Ability to organize priorities and manage competing deliverable deadlines.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority across matrixed teams.
  • Able to work in project groups with shared-work teams globally to progress project designs.
Preferred Skills
  • Professional Engineering license or ability to obtain registration preferred.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) required.
  • 10 13 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, OR 14 17 years of relevant work experience in lieu of degree.
Required Experience
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant process engineering experience (with bachelor's degree); or 14 17 years of relevant work experience.
