# Project Overview:

Fab 62 is an advanced semiconductor fabrication facility for Intel Corporation, located at Intel's Ocotillo campus in Chandler, Arizona. As part of this work, the M&T team is responsible for delivering the engineering, procurement, and construction scope required to complete and finish-out a leading-edge chipmaking facility - a highly demanding environment where precision, cleanliness, schedule certainty, and coordination across thousands of craft and professional personnel are essential to success.

The project supports the continued expansion of domestic semiconductor manufacturing capacity, contributing to a more resilient technology supply chain while creating significant opportunity for the local Arizona workforce. Job Summary:

In this role, you will plan, develop, and review electrical engineering design work, produce drawings and documentation, and prepare design estimates for a project. You will coordinate with clients, facilitate technical discussions, and review key electrical drawings, calculations, and bid summaries. You will solve complex technical issues and ensure electrical designs comply with all regulations and standards.

# Major Responsibilities:

+ Leads or administers work of electrical designers and drafters for a business line technology to include the preparation of layouts, study drawings, detailed 2-D and 3-D Computer Aided Design (CAD) design models, and construction drawings.

+ Supporting, coaching, and training less experienced designers.

+ Develops designs for complete and complex electrical engineering systems such as electrical rooms, equipment, cable tray, conduit, duct bank, and lighting with minimum supervision from which detailed scale models and/or construction drawings are completed.  

+ Assists with coordination of 3D model activities, i.e. input, interference reconciliation, etc. with other physical related disciplines.

+ Works with designers in other disciplines to coordinate overall design and technical requirements.

+ Prepares or assists with the preparation of assigned material requisitions and bid evaluations.

+ Monitors and checks work for compliance with approved electrical design standards to provide quality design, reliable/safe plant operation, and construction economy.

+ Participates in constructability reviews.

+ Prepares design and drafting procedures to standardize design effort.

+ Coordinates or makes jobsite visits, as required, to resolve problems and interpret drawings and documents.

+ Reviews electrical design scope changes, as required, for project management.

+ Ensures electrical systems designs comply with all applicable installation codes, regulations, and standards.
