This position is responsible for ensuring that equipment is properly maintained and operated efficiently. This position is also responsible for commissioning, installation, and developing standards/training for new equipment.
Essential Functions:- Works with contractors to ensure safety and accuracy of work.
- Provides support for the installation, training, and repair of equipment.
- Assists in the identification and procurement of new equipment. Obtains specifications and design information of new equipment.
- Identifies and implements options for equipment retrofits and repairs
- Supports process improvement initiatives
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree - 2+ years of relevant experience
- Familiarity with manufacturing and/or operations equipment
