Job Summary

Under the direction of the Student Life Esports Coordinator, the Esports Lab Technician will aid in the esports lab management,
inventory management, and special event/tournament assistance while maintaining a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
The Esports Technician will support, maintain and cultivate Esports at Chandler-Gilbert Community College.

Essential Functions

Greet and check-in students
Assist with computer setup and basic hardware/software troubleshooting
Present the Esports Lab and related information about the Esports Program to guests
Maintain cleanliness and inventory of esports lab equipment
Provide support to Esports Coordinator for general day-to-day operations for the Esports Program

Minimum Qualifications

Experience working in esports or knowledge of the video game industry, culture, and trends
Experience working in a computer lab or front desk setting

Desired Qualifications

Customer service experience
Experience working with a diverse population

Experience with tournament or event planning

Experience with computer maintenance and troubleshooting

Experience with gaming consoles and related equipment
Experience working with broadcasting and streaming software
