Position Overview

As a Relationship Manager II within PNC’s Business Banking organization, you will be based in the Greater Phoenix Market. You will coordinate relationship management activities with new and/or existing clients to grow sales, revenue and share of wallet. The role involves acquiring, expanding, and retaining client relationships, managing risk, and leveraging PNC’s full suite of products and services.

Job Description
  • Develop and grow a book of business by identifying and converting sales opportunities.
  • Originate, analyze, negotiate, and document credit and non‑credit products and services.
  • Assess and mitigate risks—regulatory, reputational, operational, and credit—for moderate to complex client needs.
  • Provide insights and ideas based on client financial health to increase engagement and loyalty.
  • Build and maintain effective internal and external networks to acquire new clients or expand existing relationships.
  • Present PNC’s full range of products and services to clients, leveraging reporting and sales tools.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive quality and achieve sales goals while maintaining compliance with internal policies and the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education, experience, and certifications).
  • Minimum 5+ years of industry‑relevant experience in business banking or related finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of credit processes, credit products, financial analysis, and client relationship management.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze, evaluate, and mitigate credit and operational risk.
  • Excellent communication, decision‑making, and prospecting skills.
  • Tech savvy; comfortable using sales tools, reporting platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Preferred: experience managing moderate to complex risk portfolios and a proven book of business.
