Premium Team Manager
As the Premium Team Manager, you will lead the Premium Elite Relationship Managers to achieve sales performance objectives by driving asset consolidation, retention, and expanding client relationships through targeted product penetration.
Responsibilities- Assist Relationship Managers with prioritizing and managing their books, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance client delight and position the institution as the client’s sole financial vehicle.
- Develop Relationship Managers to adopt a client‑focused approach, becoming a trusted expert on complex trading, servicing, and relationship needs to secure wallet share.
- Execute disciplined business development strategies and goals to achieve business growth while focusing on the client experience.
- Apply in‑depth knowledge of trading mechanics, fixed income, options, margin, and margin regulations.
- Deliver efficient and responsive resolution for client situations, owning case management, researching issues, and communicating solutions.
- Apply critical thinking and problem‑solving skills to address escalated client issues and deliver best‑in‑class customer experience.
- Develop expert knowledge of internal policies, procedures, and processes to ensure flawless execution of complex trading strategies.
- Review team activities to improve performance execution while managing risk and minimizing exposure.
- Collaborate seamlessly across Enterprise business lines including GWIM, US Trust, Preferred Banking, and internal partners within Merrill Edge to deliver a world‑class relationship model and improve processes.
- Actively engage in strategies to enhance client relationships, including planning and organizing client events, meetings, and dinners.
- Minimum 3–5 years of investment, trading, and brokerage experience.
- Minimum 2–3 years of leadership experience.
- Experience with advanced trading strategies, options, fixed income, and margin.
- Series 7, 66, 9, and 10 qualifications.
- Confident and engaging presence.
- Sound decision‑making skills with the ability to manage risk and overall client experience.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Wealth management and private client experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of Enterprise platforms (US Trust, BAC, Advisory) is a plus.
