Job Overview
Financial Solutions Advisor (FSA) is a phone-based, licensed advisor (Series7 and
66 required) who provides clients with holistic financial advice and guidance by identifying broader product and service solutions for investment, savings, and liability management.
- Maintain and deepen existing U.S. client relationships through day-to-day service and phone-based advice.
- Provide investment, savings, and liability management solutions and use wealth-management tools to enhance clients’ financial strategies.
- Identify prospective clients and welcome new clients to the platform, setting clear expectations for a smooth transition.
- Anticipate client needs, exceed service expectations, and follow through on commitments.
- Apply investment knowledge and market principles to individual client situations, adapting to client preferences with a conversational style.
- Recognize leading indicators of client attrition, mitigate risks, and align Merrill Lynch products when appropriate.
- Consistently identify client opportunities and engage relevant partners.
- Maintain personal integrity and comply with the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
Skills and Qualifications
- Series7 &66 (or equivalent 63 &65) REQUIRED.
- 1–2years of financial advisory or investment sales experience.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Spanish (bilingual proficiency).
- Availability to work a standard Monday–Friday shift between 9am and 9pm EST.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is strongly preferred.
- Team-oriented and collaboratively minded.
- Track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written, and listening skills.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Ability to communicate the suite of Merrill Lynch products and services effectively.
Shift: 1st shift (United States of America). Hours per week: 40.
