This role reports directly to the Director of Finance Business Partnering and partners with Area General Managers and support teams on finance strategy and operational decisions.

- Partner with Area General Manager(s) to provide financial expertise and operational leadership to drive strategic direction for manufacturing sites.
- Provide operations management with strategic tools and interpreted reports to drive business results.
- Support long‑term capital allocation strategy and strategic financial decision making with operations leadership.
- Prepare and manage the annual strategic plans and budgeting process for the area(s).
- Ensure the weekly forecasting process is complete and accurate, providing visibility of likely outturn and actions required to hit targets.
- Analyze and interpret plant operation results, evaluating variances, and assessing their effect on plant operations.
- Monitor financial performance to identify and drive cost reductions and control initiatives.
- Research pricing, competitor trends, and other factors affecting performance.
- Provide business modelling and risk assessments.
- Lead, coach, develop, and mentor a small team of 1–3 finance professionals.
- Delegate finance activities to team members as appropriate.
- Partner with Accounting and FP&A functions to support completion of all relevant internal and external reporting requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Advanced degrees, CMA, CPA a plus.
- Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree for the right candidate.
- 5+ years of manufacturing finance and/or cost accounting experience required.
- Experience with data mining or planning applications.
- Experience with complex ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Sys Pro, Sage); SAP S/4 HANA preferred.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Travel required:
25% to 50%. - Prior experience in team leadership preferred.
- Attention to detail around producing high quality outputs and meeting deadlines.
- Ability to be tactical while seeing the bigger operational picture.
- Proven ability to synthesize complex data into meaningful insights for decision making.
- In-depth understanding of measurement of goals and key performance indices.
- Ability to challenge information and uncover robust facts and data to improve insights and decision quality.
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems and independently develop alternative solutions based on data analysis.
- Ability to act independently as a subject matter expert with limited supervision.
- Ability to implement ideas across a multi‑plant environment.
- Ability to influence others without a direct reporting relationship.
