Financial Systems Analyst

Summary:

The Business Analyst plays a critical role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing the technology landscape that underpins our core financial processes. This role partners closely with FP&A, Accounting, and IT teams to deliver scalable and standardized solutions across reporting, planning and consolidation platforms. As an early-stage member of the FP&A Center of Excellence, the Business Analyst helps with data consistency, analytical rigor, and decision support to deliver timely, actionable insights.

Essential Functions:

Systems, Data & Analytics Adoption
* Perform data analysis and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency across financial systems.
* Document business processes, data flows, system configurations, and user procedures.
* Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and improved system utilization. FP&A & Finance Enablement
* Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards, data models, and analytics solutions to support decision-making across the organization.
* Support and enhance financial reporting, planning and consolidations processes/systems.
* Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close support activities, ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution. Cross‑Functional Collaboration
* Serve as the primary liaison between Finance/Accounting stakeholders and technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data governance, master data quality, and reporting standardization.
* Support training, change management, and adoption of standard Finance/Accounting processes.

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field. May consider equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
* 3+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting or Financial Systems.
* Hands-on experience with: *

* SAP SAC-P (planning models, data actions, stories)
* SAP Group Reporting (configuration / data collection / translation / elimination / reporting )
* Power BI (data modeling, DAX, report development)
* Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, FP&A processes and financial data structures.
* Experience supporting FP&A Centers of Excellence or shared services models.
* Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
