Certified Medical Assistant

We are seeking a professional Certified Medical Assistant. This position will fluctuate from back to front office on a needed basis. We’re looking for one who is professional, well‑organized, great at multitasking, and can provide a safe and caring environment that our patients would love to be in. Providers in this practice are: Double Board‑Certified MDs specializing in Pain Management and Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery, and an NP.

• EMR software
• Answering phones and faxes, referrals processing and follow‑up
• Medical records
• Experience with Microsoft/Excel
• Understanding HIPAA Guidelines
• Vital signs and injections
• Ordering and processing image reports & labs
• Medical Assistant Certification from a recognized school

• Greet patients
• Answer phones
• Schedule appointments
• Collect payments
• Submit and assist with authorizations
• Assist with patient preparations and general patient care
• May perform routine treatments within scope of experience, taking and recording V/S under supervision of NP or MD
• Manage incoming calls, faxes, and emails
• Manage EMR charts for provider(s), including sending medical records for follow‑ups
• Advise patients on provider orders
• Order office supplies/lab items and maintain par levels

Rate will be $17.00–$18.00 per hour depending on experience.

Hours:

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday‑Friday. Benefits offered are Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, PTO, Holiday Pay.
