Gray’s Counseling of Arizona PLLC is a private practice that values the importance of relationships and the individuals in them. All people have value and are worthy of the time with a professional who invests in their thoughts, dreams, struggles, and doubts. Our goal is for our clinicians and clients to feel supported through transparency and sensitivity. We want our clinicians to be motivated and curious, feeling fully supported along the way, so their attention can be directed towards their clients while having a healthy work/life balance.
We believe this balance is necessary to avoid burnout for clinicians, protect their energy, and maintain excellent quality of care for your clients. Here, we believe that redemption is possible, clinicians are the compass, and clients decide where to go. Whether you are looking for support as a clinician or looking for a therapist, Gray’s Counseling is here, and we would be honored to join your journey in making our community better by guiding clients in learning how to ‘Live in the Gray.’
are we looking for?
We are seeking therapists who are dedicated and genuinely care for the well-being of their clients. That is it. This is not written with AI, there is a real person on the other side of this who believes that the power of humanity can shift someone from hopeless to hopeful.
Gray’s Counseling provides services to children, adolescents, adults, and couples struggling with trauma and grief, relationship issues, life transitions and adjustments, and general mental health. We are looking for a therapist who has a valid independent license through the AZBBHE (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or clinical psychologist) and can effectively navigate the complexities that clients can present with. Gray’s Counseling is seeking a therapist who can complete clinical assessments (treatment planning and diagnosis), utilize assessment tools, and provide excellent client-centered care.
We are looking for a therapist with exceptional interpersonal communication skills, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Gray’s Counseling is seeking a therapist who will maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold the NASW Code of Ethics. We are looking for a therapist who is trained in CBT, DBT, ACT, Brain spotting, EMDR, or other therapeutic modalities that would best serve the clients you will see.
We would love to schedule with you and get to know you. We love passionate individuals, and in a field where burnout is common, we hope that you find your “why” again and run with it.
We offer you a clear insight into our private practice—transparency with contracts, insurance, board policies, expectations, and finances. We want you to succeed because when a clinician is thriving, we know their clients will flourish. We currently have 4 virtual positions available, and if you think that this is the type of environment and team you want to be a part of, reach out.
We do have an office in Chandler that could be utilized, depending on scheduling.
Gray’s Counseling is credentialed with various EAP programs and major insurance companies (Cigna, BCBS, Aetna, UHC, and some Medicare plans). We offer marketing support, whether on our website, supplying business cards, Psychology Today, or teaching how to market yourself in the best way possible. Gray’s Counseling provides administrative support so you can focus on your clients, such as assistance in scheduling initial appointments/consultation calls, obtaining/emailing consents, and creating the client’s file/portal.
We offer billing services and insurance credentialing with EAP programs and insurance companies. Gray’s Counseling provides a secure EHR system with telehealth abilities, phone services, and email. We recognize the importance of freedom and autonomy to create your own schedules while offering a steady referral system to help build a strong caseload.
This would be a 1099 (contractor) position and does not provide benefits at this time.
Compensation is based on insurance/EAP contractual rates and varies from $81 to $130 per session
Gray's Counseling offers a generous split of 70/30 that is not based on caseload size
