This opportunity is open to candidates of all experience levels, though those with dialysis or nephrology experience are strongly encouraged to apply.

Training will be provided to ensure a smooth transition into nephrology for candidates with no prior nephrology experience.

• Clinic Coverage (Monday-Friday)
• Dialysis Unit Coverage (Monday-Friday)
• No weekend call coverage is expected

• Master’s degree program in nursing with nationally recognized course content, formal clinical preparation with minimum hour standards per program requirements
• Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
• Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to prevent, remediate, or alleviate illness and promote health, thus, resulting in improved patient outcomes.
• Knowledge of patient assessment techniques including taking medical histories, performing physicals, evaluating health status including state of wellness, and compliance with care recommendations.
• Knowledge of diagnosing and treating medical problems and developing care plans.
• Knowledge of medical records documentation in a confidential manner.
