Lighthouse Therapy is looking for Virtual Occupational Therapists to work remotely with Arizona school districts for the 2026/2027 School Year as a 1099 Independent Contractor

Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy

Active Arizona license as an Occupational Therapist or willingness to apply for licensure

Reliable high-speed Internet access

A dedicated computer with a webcam for providing virtual services

A dedicated, quiet, and professional space for online sessions

Ability to build rapport with students in a virtual environment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Positive and patient demeanor

Previous experience providing online occupational therapy services (teletherapy) in an educational setting

2+ years experience working in schools

Willingness to support a full online caseload of 40 - 50 students per week for the  school year – with potential for renewal

Willingness to work 4 days per week, 32 hours per week for 40.75 weeks

Start time 7:30 am

This opening is for individuals who want a full caseload of 40 - 50 students. This caseload size typically translates to 20 - 25 hours a week of direct virtual service time and 35 - 40 hours per week in total billable time.

Q — What if I see students who require more time? What if I need to see a student for 30 minutes twice a week instead of once a week?

A — Under Lighthouse Therapy's caseload definition, “a student is a child receiving service for 30 minutes once a week.” If you were to have a child receiving service for 30 minutes twice a week, then that child would count as two students.
