The cleanliness of our hotel is one of the main reasons guests choose to return and recommend the Marriott Phoenix Chandler Hotel to friends and family. Our Housekeeping team plays a critical role in creating a clean, comfortable, and memorable guest experience.

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our Housekeeping team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and understands the importance of properly caring for and maintaining guest linens. This role is truly the "Heart of the House," providing essential services that help ensure our guests can relax and enjoy their stay.

Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner and assist with their needs as appropriate.

Work as part of the Housekeeping team to achieve and maintain the hotel's cleanliness and service standards.

Wash, dry, fold, sort, and properly store guest room linens, towels, and other hotel laundry.

Process restaurant, banquet, and catering linens as needed.

Inspect linens for cleanliness, stains, damage, and overall condition.

Ensure clean linens are properly organized and readily available for Housekeeping operations.

Keep the laundry room, linen storage areas, and surrounding common areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.

Properly operate laundry equipment and understand the appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Follow all hotel safety procedures when handling equipment, chemicals, linens, and laundry carts.

Assist Room Attendants and Housepersons with Housekeeping duties as needed.

Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Communicate and respond to guests and fellow team members in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner.

Follow Marriott and Pyramid Global Hospitality standards and procedures.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Previous hotel, laundry, or housekeeping experience preferred.

Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards.

Neat, professional, and pleasant personality.

Strong time management and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hotel environment.
