About our property:
The Marriott Phoenix Chandler, located in Chandler- a Southeast suburb of Phoenix, is the newest Full Service Marriott in the state of Arizona! Featuring 264 Guest Rooms and over 21,000 sq ft of event space, this hotel has the largest Ballroom in Chandler, AZ! We are seeking a passionate hospitality professional with a strong commitment to service, a thorough understanding of the guest experience, and an exceptional Beyond Compare service attitude for the position of On-Call Banquets Server at the Marriott Phoenix Chandler Hotel. This position is responsible for providing professional, attentive, and courteous food and beverage service while ensuring an exceptional guest experience and maintaining Marriott and hotel standards.

Minimum of one (1) year of hospitality experience required. Previous banquet and/or food and beverage experience preferred. Experience in a hotel, resort, banquet, or upscale hospitality environment is preferred.

• Set up banquet and event rooms according to specifications provided by the Banquets Manager, including tables, chairs, linens, china, silverware, glassware, and other service items.
• Attend pre-shift meetings and roll calls to review event details, guest expectations, menus, service standards, and special requests.
• Greet and interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner while providing attentive service throughout the event.
• Serve food and beverages according to the banquet event order (BEO), established service standards, and direction from the Banquets Manager.
