We are seeking a highly organized, hands‑on Executive Housekeeper to lead the housekeeping operations at the Element Chandler Fashion Center
, a Marriott extended‑stay hotel focused on providing guests with a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

Position Overview

The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the Housekeeping Department, including guest rooms, public areas, laundry operations, inventory management, and housekeeping team development. This role requires a detail-oriented leader who can maintain Marriott brand standards while driving efficiency, guest satisfaction, and team accountability.

The ideal candidate is proactive, solutions-focused, and comfortable leading a fast‑paced operation while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.

This position will be held directly accountable for housekeeping labor performance, including daily monitoring and management of CPOR (Cost Per Occupied Room), productivity, scheduling efficiency, overtime control, and achievement of all departmental labor targets.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Manage the department's largest controllable expense
    , labor, through daily CPOR analysis, productivity tracking, forecasting, scheduling, and real‑time staffing adjustments to meet financial and operational objectives.

  • Oversee daily housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure guest rooms and public areas meet Marriott brand standards.

  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, organization, and operational efficiency throughout the hotel.

  • Conduct routine inspections of guestrooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces.

  • Coordinate room availability and priorities with the Front Office team.

  • Ensure all housekeeping procedures, policies, and brand requirements are consistently followed.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Recruit, train, mentor, and develop housekeeping associates and supervisors.

  • Build a culture of accountability, teamwork, and guest service excellence.

  • Manage scheduling, staffing levels, and labor productivity based on hotel occupancy and business demands.

  • Conduct regular training and performance coaching to ensure team success.

  • Lead by example through active involvement in daily operations.

Guest Experience

  • Champion a guest‑first culture focused on cleanliness, attention to detail, and prompt service recovery.

  • Address guest concerns quickly and professionally.

  • Maintain strong visibility throughout the property and support operational needs as required.

  • Partner with other departments to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Manage departmental inventories including linens, terry, guest supplies, and cleaning chemicals.

  • Control expenses while maintaining quality and service standards.

  • Monitor purchasing and inventory levels to minimize waste and shortages.

  • Ensure proper handling and storage of all housekeeping supplies and equipment.

Brand Standards & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with Marriott operating standards, policies, audits, and quality assurance programs.

  • Maintain all safety, OSHA, health, and regulatory requirements.
