Kforce has a client Service Now Developer in Chandler, AZ for a direct hire role.
Summary:
Our technology client in Chandler, AZ is seeking a talented Service Now Developer to join their growing team. This is a high-impact role with direct visibility, and we are working closely with the Hiring Manager on this search.
- Build & Enhance Service Now Solutions:
Design, develop, and configure applications, modules, and workflows across ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request), ITOM, ITAM, and other Service Now areas - Drive Automation & AI Adoption:
Implement AI-driven features, predictive analytics, and automation to increase efficiency and streamline processes - Customize & Script:
Create and refine forms, reports, scripts, UI actions/pages, and integrations using JavaScript, the Glide API, and modern web technologies (Angular
JS, HTML5, SCSS, React.js, UI Builder) - Integrate Systems:
Develop and maintain integrations with external platforms such as LDAP, Active Directory, REST APIs, and SOAP services - Manage CMDB:
Build and maintain accurate Configuration Items (CIs) and ensure CMDB data integrity - Provide Technical Support:
Troubleshoot and resolve Service Now issues across incidents, problems, and change requests - Handle Upgrades:
Plan, test, and execute platform upgrades and patches with minimal operational impact - Collaborate with Stakeholders:
Partner closely with business analysts and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions - Document Effectively:
Produce clear, comprehensive technical documentation and workflow/process artifacts
- 3-5+ years of hands-on Service Now development, configuration, and administration experience
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to collaborate well with both technical and non-technical teams
- JavaScript, Glide API, Angular
JS, HTML5, SCSS, React.js, UI Builder - Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and CSDM; experience with integrations (REST, SOAP, MID Server)
- Familiarity with update sets, versioning, and deployment processes
- Solid grounding in ITIL concepts (Incident, Problem, Change Management)
- Service Now CSA (Certified System Administrator)
- Service Now CAD (Certified Application Developer)
- ITIL Foundation (nice to have)
- Hands-on work with ITOM modules such as Discovery, Orchestration, and Event Management
- Exposure to Agile development environments and collaboration tools
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and their integrations with Service Now
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
