Responsibilities
Kforce's client in Chandler, AZ is seeking a highly skilled Service Now Architect to design and deliver scalable, enterprise‑grade solutions. The architect will define solution strategy, design complex architectures, and guide implementation across multiple Service Now modules while collaborating closely with stakeholders, leading development teams, and ensuring platform excellence through best‑practice design, governance, and optimization.
- Architect & Design:
Lead end‑to‑end architecture and implementation of Service Now modules including ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, ITAM, HRSD, and more. - Strategic Vision:
Partner with business and technical teams to define platform roadmaps and architectural direction. - Platform Configuration:
Oversee customization, configuration, and development to ensure scalable, maintainable solutions. - Systems Integration:
Design integrations with enterprise systems (LDAP, AD, SAP, AWS, Azure, Salesforce, custom APIs, etc.) using REST, SOAP, OAuth2, JWT, and MID Server. - Technical Leadership:
Mentor developers, enforce coding standards, and champion architectural best practices. - Optimization:
Evaluate and enhance platform performance, CMDB quality, workflows, and data models. - Governance & Security:
Establish standards for data integrity, access control, compliance, versioning, and deployment processes. - Client Advisory:
Serve as a trusted SME, advising clients on architecture, automation opportunities, and platform capabilities. - Documentation:
Deliver architecture diagrams, implementation guides, and solution documentation. - Upgrades & Enhancements:
Lead system upgrades, patches, and feature enablement to align with new releases.
- Certifications:
CSA, CAD, or CTA preferred but not required. - Experience:
5–7+ years designing and implementing Service Now solutions, including 3+ years in a lead or architect role. - Expert‑level knowledge of Service Now architecture, ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, HRSD, CMDB, and CSDM.
- Strong Service Now scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, etc.).
- Proven ability to build scalable, enterprise‑grade solutions.
- Advanced experience with integrations, platform governance, update sets, and version control.
- Familiarity with Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, and emerging Service Now features.
- ITIL Knowledge:
Strong understanding of ITIL processes and the ability to map them effectively to Service Now capabilities. - Project Leadership:
Experience with agile delivery and large scale implementation efforts. - Communication:
Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience with ITOM (Discovery, Orchestration, Event Management).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience with Dev Ops/CI CD pipelines for Service Now.
- Knowledge of automation frameworks and tools.
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
