AI Security Engineer

Must have

• 4–6 years of experience in data classification, data governance, or analytics roles.
• Hands-on experience with Securiti AI or similar data discovery and classification tools.
• Strong knowledge of data classification methodologies and semantic similarity in enterprise data.
• Experience in scanning structured and unstructured data at scale.
• Proficient in SQL with experience in relational or enterprise databases.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with GDPR, SOX, or other data privacy and compliance regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
• Experience in scripting (Python, Shell, or similar) for automation and analytical purposes.
• Ability to scan data from servers and virtual machines.

• Provide support for tuning and optimizing Security AI data discovery and classification for both structured and unstructured data.
• Implement data classification efficacy validation strategies to ensure precision and consistency.
• Apply effective feedback mechanisms to avoid cascading misclassifications across numerous columns and datasets.
• Monitor and review the impact of tuning on classification results, ensuring continued compliance.
• Uphold data governance integrity and prepare for audits.
• Conduct internal data scanning across servers and virtual machines.
• Analyze large datasets (up to 100+ TB) across enterprise platforms.
• Manage cloud-based data sources, primarily utilizing AWS.
• Collaborate with analytics, governance, security, and platform teams to synchronize classification outcomes.
• Support regulatory compliance initiatives concerning GDPR, SOX, and other data protection frameworks.
• Use SQL or other database technologies for analyzing, validating, and troubleshooting classification results.
• Develop scripts and automation to assist with scanning, tuning, and reporting activities.

We are seeking an AI Security Engineer to join our team in a hybrid work setting in either Charlotte, NC or Chandler, AZ. This is a contract position with a duration of 12 to 24 months.
