Overview
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer III to join their team. As a Site Reliability Engineer III, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support Department supporting Application Development and Production Support teams. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer III
Location: Chandler, AZ
What’s the Job?- Establish and maintain partnerships with Application Development and Production Support teams to implement effective reliability measures.
- Ensure instrumentation, tooling, ticketing, alerting, and on-call routines are properly in place for critical services.
- Demonstrate high-level technical expertise within one or more technical domains, including cloud platforms and data services.
- Decompose complex issues or objectives into manageable units of work for team members.
- Advocate for efficient solution delivery practices and promote best design, engineering, and organizational practices.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience building and maintaining cloud platforms on major cloud service providers.
- Strong experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace, and AWS native tools like Cloud Watch and Cloud Trail.
- Proficiency in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining data platforms such as Databricks, RDS, or OpenAI.
- Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .Net.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Git and Jenkins, and familiarity with Git Ops models.
