Job Duties
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, evaluate, deploy, and document Insights data management and business intelligence systems, enabling stakeholders to manage the business and interpret data for business decision‑making.
- Contribute to all aspects of the Insights Enterprise Data Warehouse: ETL (extract, transform and load), metadata layer, presentation layer, security/administration, user and production support as well as automating processes using ETL and scripting best practices.
- Build secure, available, scalable, stable, and cost‑effective data solutions to handle large datasets using data storage technologies, distributed file systems, data processing, and business intelligence standards and methodologies.
- Work with Insight business customers to understand their business needs and implement solutions to support their analytical and reporting needs. This includes designing and building complex BI reports, scorecards and dashboards in Power BI according to the specific requirements provided.
- Create and deploy data models, reports and utilize analytical, statistical, and machine learning tools to uncover insights and actions.
- Collaborate with other BI team members to ensure successful delivery and a high business impact for Insights internal clients.
- Position reports out of Chandler, AZ HQ office but telecommuting is permitted on a case‑by‑case basis.
- Education Requirements:
Bachelors Degree of Professional Studies in Data Analytics, Computer Science, or closely related. Employer will accept advanced degree if in the same field. - Experience Requirements: 18 months of experience in job offered, Systems Engineer, or closely related.
- Develop mappings in Informatica and SQL to extract, transform and load data from disparate sources into Data Warehouse.
- Design and build reports, dashboards in Excel and Tableau to evaluate key performance metrics of front‑end operations team.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to process millions of rows of data, delivering business insights and reports within specified time frames.
- Develop, tune, and deploy various applications for analyzing large volume of customer and sales data.
