Cloud Platform Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to join their team. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be part of the Cloud Infrastructure team supporting cloud automation and data analytics initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem‑solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Cloud Platform Engineer

Location: Chandler, AZ

• Design and develop public cloud landing zone automation to build core cloud foundational platform services
• Write public cloud infrastructure as code automation using tools such as Terraform
• Develop cloud services provisioning automation with integrated capabilities of IAM, network, security policies as code, and observability
• Implement built-in resiliency, observability, and enable Fin Ops as part of infrastructure automation to support data PaaS services
• Collaborate with technical product management and operations to deliver the engineering roadmap in an Agile environment

• Significant experience writing Hashi Corp Terraform configurations and modules
• Proficiency in Dev Ops models with infra‑as‑code, config‑as‑code, policy‑as‑code, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud; AWS and GCP experience is desirable
• Solid understanding of cloud networking concepts, security, and monitoring tools
• Experience with Azure data analytics technologies including Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Microsoft Purview, and Power BI
