Database Administrator III

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and financial services sector, is seeking a Database Administrator III to join their team. As a Database Administrator III, you will be part of the IT department supporting critical business operations and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to database management, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Database Administrator III

Location: Chandler, AZ (Need local candidates)

Pay Range:$65.13

• Participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex databases, often utilizing new technologies.
• Support multiple projects, including SQL Server migrations from SQL 2016 to SQL 2022, and manage core business functions.
• Provide troubleshooting, performance tuning, and proactive stability maintenance for high-profile applications.
• Support M365 applications and lead SharePoint Online migration efforts, including weekend work as needed.
• Manage on‑call responsibilities and support BAU activities to ensure continuous system performance and reliability.

• 10+ years of experience in SQL Server Administration, with a strong background in database design and performance tuning.
• Expertise in SQL Server migrations, including SQL 2016 to SQL 2022, and experience with SQL tools such as Query Store.
• Familiarity with Linux environments, Redis, Dynatrace, Tiger Graph, and Splunk.
• Prior experience as a Bank DBA or in a similar high‑tier environment is preferred.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
