Are you a visionary leader and Salesforce architect with a passion for transforming higher education with Salesforce?As a Principal Salesforce Education Cloud Technical Architect, you'll play a leadership role in an entrepreneurial division by leveraging your Salesforce platform technical expertise and higher education industry knowledge for business development, defining go-to-market strategies, leading client implementations, mentoring and growing consulting teams, and expanding Intra Edge's presence in the higher education market.

You will be involved with Salesforce partner relationship activities and working with Salesforce Account Executives to help clients understand the value of pairing the Salesforce platform with Intra Edge's Education services and product offerings. In additional, you will collaborate with other Intra Edge divisions to explore opportunities for developing new software products, assets, and accelerators.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities:

• Serve as a billable project Technical Architect for client engagements, and work with project teams to achieve client project success and project profitability.
• Present and demonstrate solutions to clients, gaining buy-in and building trust.
• Collaborate with Salesforce Education Cloud product development teams and stay up to date on the latest Salesforce Education Cloud features and platform functionalities.
• Participate in Salesforce community activities and conferences.
• Develop Salesforce proof-of-concepts and presentations to be used for sales and business development.
• Develop Salesforce implementation best practice and repeatable approaches.
• Define Dev Ops best practices and repeatable approaches.
• Conduct architecture reviews for implementation project teams.
• Collaborate with higher education clients to understand their unique needs and challenges.
• Design and architect scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
• Integrate Education Cloud with other relevant systems using industry leading practices like APIs and data models.
• Develop and implement automation strategies to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams and external partners.
• Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Document solutions effectively for future reference, reusability, and knowledge transfer.
• Provide sales support by developing solution designs, content, and financial estimates for RFP responses and other sales activities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed to support client and/or internal initiatives. Most project work will be performed remotely.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree is preferred.
• 5-7 years of experience serving as a Salesforce Technical Architect with 2+ years working with Salesforce Education Cloud or Education Data Architecture.
• Proven history of project leadership, sales and business development support, and client engagement management.
• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce Education Cloud functionalities such as Enrollment Management, Learner Success, Community Management, Student Lifecycle Management, or Advancement.
• Experience working with higher education institutions and their specific challenges related to student lifecycle management, admissions, and enrollment.
• Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect. Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including , Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Omni Studio, and integration and security best practices.
• Strong understanding of Salesforce Education Cloud features and functionalities.
• Experience working with higher education institutions and their specific needs (admissions, enrollment, student lifecycle management, advancement, etc.).
• Experience with data modeling and integration methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional consideration for:

• Experience with Salesforce Heroku and Experience Cloud.
• Experience with Salesforce Dev Ops practices.
• Experience integrating with key higher education systems such as SIS, LMS, Advancement, etc.
• Understanding of higher education technology trends.
• Certifications in Salesforce Education Cloud or related products leading to a Certified Technical Architect, e.g. Platform App Builder, Integration Architecture, development lifecycle, data architecture, identity and access management.
